Moisture levels vary in our logs depending on the season. Our logs will be much wetter in the winter months than in the summer
months.
Our logs are particularly wet if we have had large amounts of rainfall so we recommend that you buy your logs early to allow them to fully dry before
burning.

We now offer KILN DRIED logs that we dry in our specially built log drying kiln. It's is powered by renewable resources such as straw and waste wood. The logs are guaranteed to have less than 20% moisture and are ready to burn.

This category is the highest quality wood we supply, best suited to open fire as it doesn't spit.

We deliver logs to Colchester, Mersea Island, Tollesbury, Maldon, Tiptree, Kelvedon, Marks Tey, Great Horkesley, Alfesford, Elmstead Market, Ardleigh, Wivenhoe areas and further.
DELIVERY CHARGES APPLY TO SOME OF THESE PLACES DUE TO THE DISTANCE/TIME FROM OUR YARD.
This photo shows our tipper truck with a 2 cubic meter load.
- There are approximately 325 logs in a cubic meter of loose filled loads if the logs are cut to 10 inch lengths.
- We can cut logs to a length from 8 inches up to 24 inches long to suit your wood burning needs. There is a £15 charge for cutting to lengths shorter than 10 inches, due to the extra time it takes.
- Multiple cubic meters can be ordered.
- Order in the summer and get it in the log store to make sure that you have dry, ready to burn wood in the winter, if you order more than you need don't worry it doesn't go out of date.
- DURING WINTER THERE MAYBE A WAIT FOR DELIVERY OF YOUR LOGS DUE TO HIGH VOLUME OF ORDERS.
