Our timber yard and shop is open Monday - Friday 9am - 4pm and Saturday 9am - 12pm. We have racks of timber available for shelving, tabletops, bar tops, clocks and whatever your imagine can plan next. We have shelves of Woodturning blanks for woodturners and cookies for crafters. Pop in for a look around and a chat. We are very proud to supply timber and firewood in and around the Colchester area.
Wonderful rustic timber for projects large and small. We can supply you with timber for shelving, resin projects, wall art, table and bar tops, chopping boards and cheese boards etc ..
- Waney edge timber has one square edge and the other with the bark in place.
- Spalted timber has dark and light patterns and lines in the wood caused by fungi.
- Lacewood has a conspicuous flecking that gives the wood its name, the wood itself is a reddish brown with light grey or light brown rays resulting in a lacewood pattern when sawn.)
